Lately, I have enjoyed watching storms.

This particular storm was nifty. On the right side of these photos, you can see a funnel clous beginning to form, which later caused a rather amazing water spout. Sky meets sea.

A few days ago, Nathan and I laid in the hammock watching some serious lightning that lit the black night sky for an hour before following with a torrent of rain and hail. Somehow, it is easier to see the beauty of an actual storm than those that are metaphorical.

My vacation week starts today. I don't really have plans, but I am looking forward to it. Then, summer semester begins again. Maybe it will bring a sense of freshness with it. Like the rain tends to do.
